Problem Statement: Visits being Scheduled via Outlook by the Hosts are not getting registered in SAFE. Customer recently upgraded from MS Exchange to Office 365.
Affected Version: 4.X and Above with POP3 Messaging Agent Interface
RCA: Visit requests (Messages) received from Office 365 is not in the iCalendar Format and hence, the Messaging Agent was not able to detect it as a Meeting Invite.
- Customer upgraded to Office 365 that has default setting of Sending event invitation in 'Base 64' format
- Customer need to make the following configuration change in their Office 365 settings as shown / highlighted below
- Once this change was effectuated, the messages received via the Messaging Agent interface were successfully read and meetings were registered
- This seems to be a Global setting that the IT can modify and push across their employees
